Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about online coaching and the process of working with Ultra Effort Coaching.
What is online coaching;
Online coaching is remote training, usually through a special app, designed specifically for you – according to your goals, level, and available time. You receive a new program every week, perform your workouts, and your coach monitors your progress and adjusts your long-term plan.
Do I need to have previous running experience?
Not necessarily. Our team takes on runners from zero to the most experienced. The program is dynamically adapted and evolves gradually.
How does the collaboration with Ultra Effort Coaching begin?
The process is simple:
1. Fill out the form with your goals, training history, and any limitations.
2. The coach designs your plan, with a weekly structure and clear goals.
3. You receive the program in the app, perform the workouts, and receive continuous feedback and adjustments.
How are my workouts recorded?
If you have a smartwatch (Garmin, Suunto, Polar, Coros, etc.), each workout you record is automatically uploaded to the special app, including all the necessary data (pace, heart rate, HR zones, altitude, etc.).
If you don’t have a watch, you can use a mobile app (Strava, Adidas Running, Nike Run Club, etc.) to record your workouts.
Simply connect the data recording app to the Good Coach App.
To connect your watch app or Strava app to the Good Coach app, follow the steps below:
- From the main menu, go to the settings menu by tapping the three dots in the bottom right corner.
- Select Connections with applications.
- Select the app you use (Strava, Garmin Connect, Polar Flow, Suunto, Coros, or Google Fit) and tap Connect.
- Log in to the corresponding app account and select Authorize to complete the connection.
How does the coach view my training sessions?
Your Coach can see all the data through the Good Coach App. The app has a feedback field where you can write all your comments about the day’s training session.
How do I receive my weekly schedule?
The program is uploaded every week to the Good Coach App. You will see your workouts organized by day, with clear instructions, pace or heart rate zones, and comments from your coach. When you complete your workouts, they are recorded, analyzed by the coach, and used to adjust the next weekly training plan.
